The NAB Small Market Television Exchange, held September 25-27 in Phoenix, Ariz., featured the Best of the Best Sales Promotion competition.

Throughout the weekend, attendees presented their "Topper" ideas selected by the Small Market Exchange planning committee during the months leading up to the conference. Through four rounds of voting, attendees selected their favorite promotional ideas to move on to the Best of the Best voting round.

Congratulations to Candice Smith, Broadcast Marketing Consultant with KXLY-TV Spokane, Wash., a Morgan Murphy Media station. Smith's entry, "News Close Squeezeback," took home top Best of the Best honors. Smith won an all expenses paid trip (airfare, hotel and registration) to the 2009 Exchange and a 32" LG Electronics integrated high definition television.
