The broadcast industry has a history of innovation – see for yourself. Will your idea be next? The second annual PILOT Innovation Challenge asks, "What is an unconventional way broadcasters and other local media could serve communities?" If you or someone you know is up for the challenge, PILOT encourages you to share this opportunity.
Thanks in part to a grant from Knight Foundation, the top six entries will be awarded cash prizes, with one prize each in the amounts of $30,000, $25,000 and $20,000, and three prizes in the amount of $15,000. For more information, please visit nabpilot.org/challenge.
Registration is open and teams can submit their ideas for accelerating broadcast innovation through September 22, 2017. Finalists will be selected by a panel of judges and winners will be selected November 12-14, 2017, at NAB Futures in Palo Alto, Calif.
