Matthew Schutzman is a partner at Gratia Capital, a multi-strategy hedge fund based in Los Angeles, California. Mr. Schutzman invests in public equity and debt securities across the media, gaming, services and consumer sectors. Mr. Schutzman previously worked at Tennenbaum Capital, where he invested in both public and private securities of media, consumer, services and technology companies and played a significant role in active workouts of Tennenbaum’s distressed investments. Prior to Tennenbaum, Mr. Schutzman was an investment banker at Moelis & Company and Houlihan Lokey, where he advised companies and sponsors on financial restructurings and mergers and acquisitions transactions. Mr. Schutzman graduated with a joint MBA/BS from the Kelley School of Business at Indiana University in 2008. He is a CPA (inactive).
