Bill Seitzler is vice president, Strategy for SmithGeiger LLC. Providing clients with an expertise in marketing and news research, management, promotion, branding, production and digital media, including over-the-top. Bill joined SmithGeiger in 2006 after working 20 years at four different local television stations across the country including stations in Lubbock, Rochester, Tulsa and Austin.
SmithGeiger is an international market research and strategy firm with offices in New York and California providing ongoing services for many of the most recognized companies in media, finance, consumer technology and multimedia, including 100+ television stations and virtually all the biggest names in broadcast, cable and satellite.
Bill has a rich experience using a multitude of unique quantitative and qualitative research methodologies to uncover consumer attitudes and preferences, using big data to create a clear road map to driving strategic transformation and growth for digital and broadcast media/content companies.
Bill lives in Austin, Texas, with his wife Lynette and their two children. In addition to being active in the Austin community, Bill serves has served as a trainer for The Kneeland Project, a nonprofit organization created to promote ethics and ongoing education of local TV news.
