Thank you for joining the National Association of Broadcasters (NAB) national public service campaign to reduce the stigma around mental illness. Targeted to young people ages 13 to 24 and people who know someone struggling with mental illness, the campaign aims to drive conversation around this critical issue with the message that it's okay to talk about mental health. To encourage this conversation, we created radio and television spots that highlight OK2TALK.org a Tumblr-based platform where we provide important resources and encourage teens and young adults to add their voice by sharing creative content such as poetry, inspirational quotes, photos, videos, song lyrics and messages of support in a safe, moderated space.
We hope you join America's broadcasters in debuting the television and radio spots on Thursday, July 25. By doing so, we will demonstrate our industry's unity and commitment to raising awareness of this important issue. Please let us know here if we can count on your participation in the July 25 debut.
On this page, you will find a link to download the spots, as well as additional resources to help you participate in this campaign throughout the year.
