Michael Bravin believes technology, when properly understood and applied, can enhance the creativity, art and craft of movie making. Through education, training and understanding he believes that the art and craft of Digital Cinematography can flourish while respecting and maintaining the traditions that filmmakers have perfected over the past 100 years.
He is currently the Chief Technology Officer at Band Pro. He is a Film & Digital Consultant to Director’s of Photography in the new and growing craft of Digital Cinematography while maintaining the art and tradition of film making. He trains on equipment capabilities, workflow, efficiencies, and understanding of production and post production methodologies.
He is also the technical liaison with Carl Zeiss Optics on the design and manufacture of the Zeiss DigiPrimes, cine optics for High Definition cameras.
He is responsible for Engineering and Technical operations at Band Pro Headquarters in Burbank, California as well as offices in Munich, New York and Tel Aviv.
