Martin Sadoff

Martin Jay Sadoff began experimenting in 3D in Toronto with Paramount Pictures. This led to his involvement as the 3D Supervisor on Paramount’s "Friday the 13th part 3D", the largest grossing domestic 3D film. He oversaw all photographic work, as well as post production and animation work. He formed a company with Gale Weaver called ’Sirius 2" to build over 3000 3D lenses for Paramount Pictures, and Columbia Pictures.

Mr. Sadoff was the 3D supervisor on Ivan Reitman’s "SpaceHunter... Adventures in the Forbidden Zone". He did the 3D for Doug Trumbull’s "Luxor Hotel" project in Las Vegas, and after working with Texas Instruments produced the 2D to 3D conversion of Paramount Pictures/Nickelodeon project "Rugrats" the feature. He produced the Large Format Cinema Association’s first display of 3D D-Cinema in 2005, using 65mm film transferred to D-Cinema and projected at the convention in Los Angeles using Christie 2K projectors and NuVision glasses.

He is V.P. of 3D Digital Intermediates for Digital Jungle, and built Los Angeles’ first all 3D Digital Intermediate room. This new room has readied two features for a major studio for future 3D release. He has recently been involved with 3D projects from Walden Media, Iwerks Entertainment, and with a new consortium is readying a new theatrical 3D playback system that will make its debut this month.
