Siegfried Foessel

Siegfried Foessel received his Diploma degree (MS) in Electronic Engineering in 1989. He started his professional career as an engineer at the Fraunhofer Institute IIS in Erlangen. Since 2001 he is project manager and coordinator for business field cinema within the Fraunhofer IIS. Examples of these projects are the development of the ARRI D20 camera, the standardization of JPEP2000 for digital cinema, the development of the DCI compliance test plan project, the development of the fieldrecorder Megacine and the coordination and management of the Worldscreen project.
