Robert Kisor

Robert Kisor is President of SMPTE and Vice President, Engineering and Technical Services at Paramount Pictures. In his 17years at Paramount he has been responsible for planning, designing, and maintaining the feature post production, video production, postproduction and distribution facilities at the studio. His work includes development and deployment of networked digital production and postproduction systems and integrated digital asset management and archive systems. He is a member of DCI and an participant in SMPTE DC28. Prior to joining Paramount Robert spent 17 years in the Engineering and Development department at CBS. Robert holds a bachelors degree in mathematics and applied science in electrical engineering from UCLA. He has been a member of SMPTE since 1975. Robert has held the positions of SMPTE Governor, Editorial Vice President and Financial Vice President.
