Gavin Schutz

Gavin is Executive Vice President of Azcar Media Strategies, a global consulting firm specializing in media and entertainment business, operations and technology development. Prior to joining Azcar, Gavin was the Executive Vice President, and CTO of Ascent Media Group (AMG). He was responsible for providing vision, leadership, and strategic direction with respect to technology throughout the Ascent Media Enterprise, and managed emerging technologies that furthered the strategic and tactical business goals of the Corporation. He is a founder of Four Media Company. Gavin is a former SMPTE President and current SMPTE Engineering Vice President.
