Wolfgang Ruppel

Wolfgang Ruppel is with T-Systems, Service Line Systems Integration, in Darmstadt, Germany. As Head of Development Digital Cinema he is responsible for the architecture and development of the Digital Cinema solutions of T-Systems. Since September 2006, he holds a professorship for Electronic Media at Wiesbaden University of Applied Sciences. Since 1994 he is involved in many research projects and product developments in the areas of networked video solutions, Digital Cinema and professional video distribution.

Wolfgang Ruppel hold a Dr.-Ing. degree in Communications Engineering from the Technical University of Darmstadt. He is a member of SMPTE, ITG (Informationstechnische Gesellschaft) and FKTG (Fernseh- und Kinotechnische Gesellschaft).
