Navigating the media divide: Innovating and enabling new business models IBM InfoSession
Sponsored By IBM
April 17, 2007
2:30PM - 4:00PM
Las Vegas Convention Center S225
The traditional media world is undergoing radical change. Open distribution platforms are proliferating, allowing content to be "hyper-syndicated" on the web and on various consumer devices. User-generated content is proliferating. Traditional distributors are creating interactive, community experiences for segmented audiences. Aggregators are providing open access to professional and user-generated content while trying to appeal to a variety of specific audiences. As content owners and media distributors innovate and adopt business models for the new world, we expect the interests and strategies of established and new media to both align and diverge. Both established and new media must innovate with new business models and rethink their traditional partnerships. Please join IBM Executives and other industry leaders for a discussion on how they are navigating these developments and opportunities in an interactive panel discussion.
