With the advent of high resolution electronic cinema projection, it has become much easier to deliver Stereoscopic -- 3D -- visual materials to large public venues. Will this only mean a resurgence of the novelty cinema of the 50’s? Or is this, instead, the leading edge of a movement whereby every film in the latter part of this century will be jumping out of its window?
