Senator Mary Landrieu, the senior senator from Louisiana, has a long track record of public service. Upon graduating from LSU, Senator Landrieu was elected to the Louisiana House of Representatives in 1979 becoming the youngest woman ever elected to the state Legislature. After 8 years in the State Legislature and 8 years as State Treasurer, she became Louisiana’s first woman Senator in 1996. The Senator is known throughout Washington as willing to cross party lines in the interest of her constituents and the nation. NAB is truly honored to have Senator Landrieu join us in Las Vegas for the NAB2007.
This session will examine current political trends and is a must-attend event for broadcasters interested in what the congressional changeover means and how decisions are made in Washington. Open to all NAB Broadcast & Regulation Conference registrants only.
