Chris Leonard

Chris Leonard is the president and general manager of New West Broadcasting Corp., a Hawaii-based organization that owns and operates five radio stations on the Island of Hawaii, including KWXX Hilo and Kona, B97 Hilo, B93 Kona and KPUA Hilo.

Leonard’s other positions currently include president and legislative chair for the Hawaii Association of Broadcasters, a nonprofit trade organization that advocates for 70 radio and television stations statewide, president of Malama Media, LLC, a music publishing and event consulting company, club director and head coach for Pilipa'a girls volleyball, assistant coach for women's volleyball at the University of Hawaii-Hilo, and board member/high performance director for the Moku O Keawe Region of USA Volleyball.

Leonard has been recognized by Pacific Business News' 40 Under 40, Pacific Century Fellows, and most recently was inducted in to the Big Island Sports Hall of Fame.
