During our June 29 webcast, we will explore the increasingly complex world of license fee calculations. In addition to the license fees that we receive from multichannel video programming distributors (MPVDs), broadcasters are anticipating collecting fees from new players in the over-the-top (OTT) space that want to provide our content to their audiences. Ensuring that these license fees are calculated and executed correctly is critical to our long term success.

The payments broadcasters receive from distributors for licensing your content results from the output of various data-based technologies combined with increasingly complex contracts which are managed by humans. Understanding the challenges involved in calculating and executing these complex payments is a key step towards ensuring that your license fee revenues are closer to expectations.
