New NAB Podcast Addresses Photo Copyright Law

WASHINGTON, D.C. -- A new NAB Podcast, entitled Navigating Photo Copyright Law: Protecting Your Station from a Lawsuit, is now available here. The podcast explores strategies on how stations can avoid alleged and real copyright infringement claims.

A recent series of copyright infringement lawsuits filed against radio and television stations highlight the importance of broadcasters fully understanding how to legally use photographs and other content on social media and websites. Securing proper permission ahead of time is necessary to protect against potential legal ramifications.

Podcast presenters include Bart Stringham, senior vice president and corporate counsel, NAB, and David Ervin, partner, Crowell and Moring.
