Bob & Tom, Scott Shannon and Clark Howard Celebrate the Magic of Radio at 2014 Radio Show Session

Radio Show Programming Sessions to Address Cultivating Talent, Mobile Audiences

WASHINGTON, D.C./NEW YORK -- The 2014 Radio Show session titled "The Magic - Radio's Storytellers" will feature radio personalities Bob & Tom, Scott Shannon and Clark Howard discussing how talent can effectively and positively impact listeners. The Radio Show, held September 10-12 in Indianapolis, is produced by the Radio Advertising Bureau (RAB) and National Association of Broadcasters (NAB).

During "The Magic - Radio's Storytellers" on September 10, popular radio personalities will look back at their early days in Radio and discuss how they continue to impact listeners. The panel, moderated by radio consultant Gary Berkowitz, will feature Bob & Tom of Westwood One, Scott Shannon of CBS Radio, and Clark Howard of Westwood One.

Other sessions slated for the 2014 Radio Show programming pillar will address topics such as growing a station's mobile audience, developing creative content and using both industry experience and data to identify music trends.

The Programming Masters Series on September 12 will address the impact of today's multi-platform media environment on Radio programmers. Sessions include: "Moonlight to Spotlight," focusing on the challenges in growing tomorrow's talent; "Connecting Social Media with your Brand;" "Radio in an Audio World;" and "The Evolution of Radio Branding." Some of the panelists include Kane, host, "The Kane Show;" Marilu Henner, host, "The Marilu Henner Show;" Steve Jones, vice president and general manager, ABC News Radio; Howard Cogan, voice of JACK-FM, HOCO Productions; and Dom Theodore, vice president, programming, The Blaze Radio Network.
