Inside Edition's Deborah Norville to Emcee Celebration of Service to America Awards Gala

WASHINGTON, DC -- Deborah Norville, host of the nation's top-rated syndicated newsmagazine "Inside Edition," will serve as master of ceremonies for the NAB Education Foundation's (NABEF) thirteenth annual Celebration of Service to America Awards, held Monday, June 6, at the Walter E. Washington Convention Center. The celebration recognizes broadcasters for outstanding service to their local communities.

Norville has more than three decades of broadcast journalism experience, including serving 16 years as anchor at "Inside Edition." A two-time Emmy Award-winner, author and philanthropist, Norville is active in a number of charities. She has been the National Celebrity Spokesperson for the Mother's March of Dimes, a director for Girl Scout Council of Greater New York, a board member of the Broadcasters Foundation of America, and served on the Steering Committee for the Rita Hayworth (Alzheimer's) Gala.

As previously announced, Oscar-winning actor Jeff Bridges will receive the 2011 Service to America Leadership Award, NABEF's highest honor, for his dedication to ending childhood hunger in America.
