WHO-AM NAMED MEDIUM MARKET STATION OF THE YEAR
DALLAS
--WHO-AM Des Moines, IA was named Medium Market Station of the Year at the 2012 National
Association of Broadcasters' Marconi Radio Awards. The awards were announced
Thursday night at the annual NAB Marconi Radio Awards Dinner & Show
held during the Radio Show in Dallas, TX.
The prestigious
awards recognize radio's outstanding personalities and stations. Marconi finalists were selected by a task force of broadcasters,
and the winners were voted on by the NAB Marconi Radio Awards Selection
Academy. The votes were tabulated by an independent firm.

NAB Marconi Radio Awards Dinner & Show was hosted by Edgar 'Shoboy' Sotelo of CBS Radio's KMVK-FM in Dallas. The show also featured a performance by Island Records' Grammy Award-Winning artist Melissa Etheridge.
