FCC License Renewal Webcast

April 26, 2011 • 3:30 p.m. EST

Join NAB for this hour-long live webcast on Tuesday, April 26 at 3:30 p.m. EST to learn more about the Federal Communications Commission's (FCC) license renewal process.

On June 1, 2011, the FCC kicks off another cycle of broadcast license renewals. This is a critical process for radio and television stations. The FCC has made several important changes to the license renewal application, and this is the first chance for the current FCC leadership to review your station's qualifications for license renewal.

The April 26 webcast will give an overview of the license renewal process, including guidance on what to look for on the revised form, and more importantly, advice on how to avoid the common pitfalls that can lead to unwelcome penalties.

Peter Doyle, chief of the Audio Division, Media Bureau, FCC, and Frank Jazzo, co-managing member of Fletcher, Heald & Hildreth, PLC, will participate in the discussion, which will include a live question and answer session.
