In the coming months, the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) is expected to release one or more notices seeking comment on rules for conducting the spectrum incentive auctions and the subsequent repacking of TV stations.
Even TV stations that choose not to participate in the spectrum auction process could be impacted and that includes their local viewers.
In order to best serve our members, the National Association of Broadcasters is hosting member education forums in select regions to discuss the spectrum auction process. NAB's TV members are invited to hear an update on the current legislative and regulatory landscape and learn what stations need to know before the FCC's proposed rulemaking. This forum is geared toward station managers and their chief engineers.
Seating is limited for these member-only forums, so RSVP today.
