NAB Executive Development Seminar

July 23 - 26, 2012
Washington, D.C.

EEO Credits

The NAB Executive Development Seminar counts towards a station's required number of outreach activities under the Federal Communications Commission's EEO Rules. That's right, by attending this seminar, not only does your station receive incredible business development advantages for your employees, but you also gain EEO credits.

How does it work? The rules require that, in addition to recruiting for every job vacancy, broadcasters must engage in a number of non-job-specific outreach activities selected from a menu of 16 options. The FCC designed the options to "encourage outreach to persons who may not yet be aware of the opportunities in the broadcasting industry or have not yet obtained the skills needed to compete for actual vacancies."

The Executive Development Seminar saves you the time, energy and dollars of creating your own programs by providing an established, proven educational opportunity. The program is designed to "enable station personnel to acquire skills that could qualify them for higher-level positions (EEO Outreach Option #8)." With its amazing curriculum, the Broadcast Executive Development Seminar participation is good business for you and your employees.
