The National Association of Broadcasters (NAB) and the Association for Maximum Service Television (MSTV) filed comments with the Federal Communications Commission today regarding a Notice of Proposed Rulemaking on the Short-term Analog Flash and Emergency Readiness Act.
2009 NAB Show to Host National Film Competition
NAB Show organizers and the 48 Hour Film Project (48HFP) announced today that the 2009 48HFP tour will begin at the NAB Show, held April 18-23 in Las Vegas. The 48HFP competition, established in 2001, promotes filmmaking, creativity and teamwork by providing participants with a compelling topic and prop and giving them two days to write, shoot and edit their film.
Latest NAB TV Financial Report Available at NAB Store
NAB announced today that the 2008 Television Financial Report is available for purchase at the NAB Store. The report, released annually, provides the most comprehensive data on television station revenues and expenses in the U.S., allowing a comparative analysis of stations revenue earnings across designated market areas (DMAs), by station affiliation and revenue categories.
