National Association of Broadcasters
(NAB) established the Education Foundation in 1994 in part to address the need to
increase diversity at all levels in broadcasting. Since that
time, a core mission of the
NAB Education Foundation (NABEF) has been to provide career
advancement opportunities for people of color and women. To advance this
goal, NABEF offers a full range of education and training programs, from
entry level through ownership.
The programs are aimed at college students and
entry-level and professional executives who are interested
in a new career, looking for advancement or owning a
radio or television station.
