Honoring the legacy of Martin Luther King, Jr., the King Day of Service on January 19, 2009 transforms the Martin Luther King, Jr. day holiday into a national day of community service. Radio PSAs feature recordings of Dr. King’s voice and narration by Isaac Newton Farris, Jr., CEO and President of the King Center in Atlanta. Help promote the King Day of Service and recruit local volunteers to serve on King Day and beyond by airing these PSAs on January 15, Martin Luther King Jr.’s birthday, through King Day.
