Advocating Our Agenda
The 2019 NAB State Leadership Conference brought more than 500 broadcasters from across the country to Washington, D.C., to get up to speed on broadcasting policies before Congress and the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) and to meet with their legislators on the issues that impact their businesses. Attendees heard from FCC Commissioner Michael O’Rielly, Assistant Speaker Ben Ray Lujan (NM-3), Sen. Amy Klobuchar (MN) and Sen. Roger Wicker (MS), chairman of the Senate Committee on Commerce, Science and Transportation.
