Radio Show

Going All in on Audio

Held in Dallas September 24-27, the reimagined Radio Show brought the forward-thinkers of radio, podcasting and streaming together for the biggest event in audio.

Featuring a revitalized lineup with a new take on iconic Radio Show events, the event was packed with collaborative sessions featuring creative solutions and profitable strategies.

We kicked things off with the all new Tech Tuesday, a full-day program designed exclusively for engineers and tech teams. Attendees engaged with more than 70 exhibitors showcasing the people and products shaping the future of audio.

Innovators and influencers from across the media landscape headlined sessions, including:

  • Gary Vaynerchuk, aka “Gary Vee,” chairman of VaynerX and host of "The GaryVee Audio Experience," who discussed how garnering the attention of audiences has become the new media currency;
  • Charlotte Jones Anderson, executive vice president and chief brand officer of the Dallas Cowboys, who shared her winning strategy behind building a world-class brand;
  • New York Times bestselling author David Fisher, who discussed how to deliver a powerful story that resonates with your listeners and keeps them coming back for more;
  • Nationally-syndicated radio personality Delilah, top-rated syndicated radio personality Rickey Smiley and Tom and Kristi of "The BOB & TOM Show" – all previous Marconi winners – who emceed and presented at the NAB Marconi Radio Awards;
  • Leading podcasters, including iHeartPodcast Networks’ Conal Byrne and acclaimed actor, wrestler, author, game show host and television personality Chris Jericho, who discussed the podcast revolution;
  • Fred and Paul Jacobs moderated a dynamic two part session featuring radio leaders who have transformed their businesses including NPR's Jarl Mohn and WTOP's Julia Ziegler, Zimmer Radio and Marketing Group’s John Zimmer; Townsquare Media’s Bill Wilson; Galaxy Media’s Ed Levine and Kellie Rasberry and J-Si Chavez of the “Kidd Kraddick Morning Show;”
  • CEOs from the three largest radio groups, including CUMULUS MEDIA’s Mary Berner, Entercom’s David Field and iHeartMedia’s Bob Pittman, who joined NBC News’ Stephanie Ruhle for a candid conversation exploring strategies for success in today’s constantly shifting audio landscape; and
  • A dynamic group of Gen Z panelists who’ve made a name for themselves in radio and discussed what matters to them and what they look for in brands, media, employers and more.

Plus, the Radio Show featured in-depth sessions on sales/marketing, young professional and management breakout sessions, the Podcast Studio and Bob and Tom's live broadcast.
